This past week I fully embraced a morning ritual of creating artwork before the day begins. It helps me embrace the day from a creative perspective and it makes the art process feel less like a "chore" at the end of the day. So, I set myself up for success each morning.

Quite simply, I sat down at my desk and took 60 seconds to 3 minutes to create a small piece of artwork.

Because I know it can be difficult once the day starts, I created a space where it was easy to create art. Pens, pencils, and tiles are already set up at my desk; I simply have to take time to sit down and create.
