Altered Book Pocket Page Tutorial

Create a pocket page using the existing book page to hold photos, small pieces of art, and mementos.

Supplies | Book, scissors, glue stick or PVA glue, items to decorate page

Step 1 | Glue 2-4 Pages together to create a sturdy section of pages 

Step 2 | Cut the pages you glued together in half horizontally

Step 3 | Glue the top half of the cut page to the page behind it. The leftover bottom half will become the outside of the pocket

Optional | Decorate the full page behind the bottom half. This will become the lining of the pocket.

Step 4 | Tape the bottom edge of the pocket front to the bottom edge of the page behind. 

Step 5 | Tape the side edge of the pocket to the front edge of the page behind.

Step 6 | Decorate and add items!
